Black Panther è stato ufficialmente candidato per il miglior film drammatico ai Golden Globe di febbraio 2019 per la 76a edizione

La Hollywood Foreign Press Association ha rivelato i candidati cinematografici e televisivi dei Golden Globe 2019. I candidati sono stati annunciati da Terry Crews, Danai Gurira, Leslie Mann e Christian Slater giovedì mattina, 6 dicembre.

Nei derby per febbraio dei Golden Globes troviamo A Star is Born di Bradley Cooper, La Favorita di Yorgos Lanthimos. C’è anche Roma di Alfonso Cuarón, Green Book di Peter Farrelly e Se la strada potesse parlare di Barry Jenkins. Il genere dei supereroi entra prepotentemente in lizza tra i candidati grazie al Black Panther di Ryan Coogler seguito da BlacKkKlansman di Spike Lee.
